Michaelonacycle he calls himself on Facebook. 45 year-old Michael Saari said after his recent divorce ending a 25 year marriage, he decided to get rid of house, car, etc. and live on the road riding his 3-wheeler recumbant bicycle. He has a solar panel that doubles as a roof and keeps a 12 volt battery charged. He’s been at it for 120 days now and says he loves it and cannot believe how nice everyone is to him. He works whenever he can he says, and just finished working at a carnival. He is now on his way to Colorado to see his mother. The wooden bear was chainsaw carved by Michael and is a gift for his mom. He takes pictures of the bear each time he enters a new state, a new town, or a special scenic site, and sends it to mom, who because of a severe stroke, now suffers short term memory loss. I pointed to a push in auto type lighter mounted in front of his seat and asked was that where he charged his phone, and he said, “hell no, that’s for lighting my cigarettes,” pointing to two cupholders, he continued, “while i’m having a cold one!” It was a genuine treat meeting Michaelonacycle who really loves his mama! LOVE LIFE cause you can.
